No Viable Options by Craig Grimes
No Viable Options is a mystery. It is about love, book fetishism, charities, dicey moral decisions, drugs, hope, hookers, insomnia, solitaire, poverty, being poor, exploiting the poor, gambling, horse racing, old skeletons, the left, power, politics, liars and pretension to name but a few things. It is told using various points of view, dreams, songs, lists, essays, story ideas and assorted other scraps. No Viable Options is not about affirming the human spirit, playing fair, respesting iconic writers, providing a model for youth, careerism or name-dropping.
